Dr. Chang is a native of South Korea but grew up in Maryland and ultimately graduated and obtained his MD degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2019. He relocated to Las Vegas for residency training in psychiatry at Southern Hills Hospital. He served as chief resident in his final year of residency and upon graduation in 2023, joined Focus Mental Health Solutions.
Dr. Chang sees patients in both the inpatient & outpatient settings, treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders. He is committed to utilizing evidence-based treatments along with an overall holistic approach that takes into account not only the biological aspects of mental health but also the psychological, social, and environmental factors that play a crucial role in a person’s well-being. In his free time, Dr. Chang remains an avid car & motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and spending time with family and friends
