Olivia was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. She was active in college with many leadership roles and found a passion for healthcare after volunteering with Hospice for several years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor. She then worked as a care assistant in a memory care/dementia unit for over a year to build her patient care skills before attending graduate school.
Olivia attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center PA Program in Memphis Tennessee. She moved to Nashville for clinical experience, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. She graduated with her Master of Medical Science- Physician Assistant in 2018, became board certified, and pursed a career in psychiatry. She believes in a combination of psychotherapeutic techniques with medication management and lifestyle changes. Olivia is passionate and dedicated to improving mental health care by giving a tailored treatment plan and truly listening to the patient’s needs. When she is not at the outpatient clinic, she enjoys exploring Las Vegas with her husband and taking walks with her dog.
