Josh is a California transplant who believes Las Vegas is a not-so hidden gem in the desert, and a place he is happy to call home. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2015. In 2021, he finished graduate school at the top of his class with a Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and is now a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
During graduate school, Josh started his training in outpatient psychiatry and ketamine clinics here in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then moved to Baltimore, Maryland to complete his clinical education at the Johns Hopkins Hospital under renowned experts in adult psychiatry and psychology. Josh believes in a holistic model of care, where evidence-based lifestyle and psychotherapeutic techniques complement medication management strategies to achieve individual treatment goals. He is especially interested in supporting the human response to mental illness, as well as exploring emerging medication options in the field of psychiatry.
Josh has considerable inpatient experience as a psychiatric RN, working with adults, children, and adolescents in various settings. His time at the bedside has given him unique insights into the impact mental illness has on patients and their families. He is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues, and providing patient-centered, trauma-informed care.
In his free time, Josh enjoys the company of friends and family, including his wife and dog, as well as grounding himself in the beautiful outdoor playground that surrounds Las Vegas.
